RETHINK: Greater Power

By December 18, 2018RETHINK

Jesus has given us power to reign and have dominion on earth.

In the last RETHINK video, Greater People, Greater Works, we looked at Matthew 11, where Jesus says that whoever is the least in his new Kingdom is greater than John. This means us. We can actually house the presence of God within us, and this is more than an invitation, it’s our calling.

Dive in deeper with us today. In this episode, we take a look at Ephesians 1:18 where Paul prays that the eyes of our heart would be enlightened to know the hope of our calling, the richness of his glorious inheritance in us, and the Lord’s exceedingly great power toward us who believe. Paul’s praying that we could just grasp this revelation of His power towards us.

This power equips us to face every challenge. In 1 John 4 it says greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Jesus has been exalted over every other name, disarmed them, and then been given to us. So why are we walking around like our enemy is bigger and stronger than us?

The One who carries all power, all wisdom, every solution to every problem, lives in us. We’re not just living for life after death, but we get the honor to walk with Him right now and do so much on this planet during our time here. It’s time to engage.
